These are just a couple of videos I took of niece Aliyah Carlos & nephew Fidel Zayco here in NYC. Aliyah is Mirabelle's daughter and Fidel is Marebec's son. If you guys don't remember who Mira & Marebec are--our cousins, daughters of Tita Rebecca and Tito Marianing Maravilla.
13 year-old Aliyah is an up & coming singer who, at the age of 3, started singing and 25 year-old Fidel is an accomplished tenor who attended the Boston Conservatory.
This was taken at Fidel's recital/fundraiser for University of London scholarship fund.

Holy cow...That was super impressive. Although, I thought he was a tenor, yet he sang baratone on both songs. Still, very impressive.
Aileen used to sing professionally on Guam and she says, the first song is a really difficult song to sing. She says anyone that can sing that song is truly talented. She says, she will go very far with that voice.
Looks like we got a video of the month for this month.
I don't remember their parent, nor do their names ring the bell. Can someone help refresh my memory?

I didn't know Aileen sang professionally! Aaliah has never had formal training, but she's still young and will hone her talent.
Here's a recent pic to refresh your memory:
Liza, Lyra, Maria, Mirabelle, Marebec
Aaliah is Mirabelle's daughter. Fidel is Marebec's son.[/img]

She used to sing for the Territorial Choral on Guam when she was in high school and I later became their roadie.
Sorry, I don't remember them. I asked my mom about them, and she knows them. She does not remember if I have ever met them, because they used to live in Bacolod and I hardly ever went there.
My mom said that she sang at her dads funeral when she was very young.
Maybe you should invite them to the forum. That way we can all get to know each other better.

aliah would love to join a broadway musical and both aren't into the 'american idol' thing.

Broadway Musicals are a lot more respectable. American Idol is a joke.
