Boots is right. Babysitting or borrowing a baby is different than having one 24/7. Sometimes you just can't explain to people why this is.

it's cute, he's protective over her... like when friends or family say "okay, bye, we'll bring kaia back next week", he'll shout "NOOOO! Don't take Kaia!" or when my mom says "Sssshhhh!" to kaia, aidan shouts "No, Nana! Don't 'Ssshh!' kaia!"

also, he makes up a little voice for her... he'll say "mommy, kaia wants to go downstairs" and i'll say "really? she said?" Then he turns to her and says "kaia, you wanna go downstairs?" and, in a little squeaky high pitch voice, says "yes!" he gets a crack out of asking her questions and then answering for her. silly monkey.

he definitely is acting out in different ways though, definitely no angel. he earns all the time-outs and spanking that come his way, it's exhausting... (sigh)
