Island Pride Gear

I will be taking on another business. More like an extention of my moms business, but something thats run soley by me. I will be starting a local clothing brand. It will be called Island Pride and will features designs that incorporate signs and symbols of Guam. I will be starting small and have already found shops that are willing to carry them. We will start off with T-Shirts and tank tops and then later expand into other clothing like caps and shorts and stuff like that. What I need now is input for the color of shirts I should start with first. So what do you think?

i think the basic colors...black, white, blue, red...very ambitious Ced. Good for you!!

Nope, I don't have any samples yet. I have some designs already and a couple more designs in the process. I need to decide on which one I'm going to put out there first, then find out the cheapest place to print the shirts. I've gotten local prices with $8.00 dollars per shirt being the cheapest. Now I'm going to check Philippines and Saipan. I know their gonna be cheaper. I'll be sure to post the samples as soon as I get them made.

Okay. Here is a sample of one of the designs. I didn't want to post just the images because sometimes its hard for others to see your ideas when its not finished, but here it is. This is for the t-shirts. I like to call it the victorian design. Its the design I made for the Bully enthusiasts on island, which will be my primary target market. I will then expand to Mixed Martial Arts then skaters and others. I am also working with my sister for other designs.

The ladies tanks will have slightly different design.

Hehehe. Thanks. But thats only digital designing, thats as far as I can go as far as designing. Im tired of digital designs. I want hand drawn stuff. Nothing beats that. So tell your friend to hurry up! Hehehe...

Hey...just to let you know, it's been a couple of days and I'm also curious what he's working on...the last time I've heard from him was, it looks interesting...I was hoping he'd get back at me by the week ends but...considering I know how an artist works...it takes time. Check this out guys. Im really excited about this design. It is still in its tweeking stage. We initially had it designed for a sticker for Island Pride Kennels, but it turned out so good that we want to use it on our Island Pride Gear. Right now it says Island Pride Kennels, but we will tweek it to say Island Pride Bully Gear.



Does anyone know anything about patenting and trade marking? I wanna make sure our designs are safe from theives.
