| i think auntie myrna mentioned someone getting married next year in the philippines?? i'm not too sure who it is, but auntie myrna & auntie dorcas thought it would be a good time to have a reunion then. goodness, the reunion on the tumpag side has been postponed every year since 2002! so i doubt that will happen anytime soon! | |

| Oh hey...is it this year, 2007?? Or, next year of 2008?? I do know that one of our cousins in the Milan's was to plan a wedding on Dec. later of this year but, plans have moved up to March 2008. My mom and auntie bheng do plan on leaving to Iloilo for our grandmother's 1st death anniversary in Dec. after Christmas...yet, they will only be there for a week. | |

| My sister is right. The wedding has moved to March 2008, the weekend before holy week. In that case, I really don't think auntie Myrna would okay a party on holy week anyway, so theres another reason why it wouldn't be a good time.
The person getting married in little Joyce Milan (a.k.a GingGing). You know, the little tomboy. Hahaha!!! I still can't beleive she's getting married.
Dam! I feel old. | |

Atleast you're married and have a kid! yes, a bonafide fact that people have responsibilities and such. but che, age is just a number and who's to say that we are old?! i feel young at heart. i may not even look my age too! although i DO tell people that i'm only 30

| Hey, 30's are the new 20's.
I don't think anyone in our family looks our age. Not even our parents. I still get carded when I buy beer or cigarettes. One time a guy at the clubs told me my I.D. was fake. I had to show him my credit cards and UOG I.D. to convince him. My friends didn't help much either; they just kept laughing and joking around that I was still uneraged.
Sometimes it's flattering, but at times it could be really irritating.

| that's SO applies to asians/pacific islanders. cuz caucasians can look alot older than they really are. i guess we got good genetics! yes, it's flattering when i still get carded too. then they gag when they look at my age but i really hate it when kids call me ma'am. it's like, "do i look like a MA'AM to you?!" | |

| I hate it when I go to the drive through and the person on the inercom calls me ma'am. Aileen always cracks up at that. I my voice missed puberty. Some of the nephews have lower voices than me now.
I'm going to be so embarassed when Blair comes back and he has a voice like a man.

My friends are fond of asking people (while making a pointing gesture over at me).."Guess how old she is??" or "How old does she look like??"...they get a kick out of it more than I do, when people answer in the lines of tw-eens years...then giggle when they find out how old I am while the other person is in disbelief like it's some kind of joke. Just to ease myself of embarrasment, I give comebacks like..."My plastic surgeon did a pretty damn good job, huh?" And then it gets irritating when they just don't get it. *sigh* Heheheh!!
